14 years ago today, the author Nelson DeMille sent a box of his books out to the desert sands of Iraq. To a lonely band of warriors in the middle of Fallujah. Each one of them individually signed and wishing us the best on our combat deployment to Iraq. Thank you Mr. DeMille! these many years later me and my Marines still appreciate reading those in the back of our vehicles, help us forget about some of our surroundings.
